CHILI CURRY SAUCE (Anna’s)

4 onions, chopped
5 cloves garlic, chopped

Fry onion and garlic. Add 1 t. salt, 1 T. chicken birryani masala, 3 chopped green chili peppers 1/2 t. sugar, 1 1/2 T. pomegranate molasses, 1 t. pepper and 1 T. tomato paste. Mix together and simmer for 15 minutes. You can add cooked chicken, meatballs or pieces of your favorite meat. For a vegetarian dish used 2 cooked potatoes. Add 1/2 c. water if the sauce is too thick. Serve over rice.
