How do you jazz up that can of pork and beans? You have some hamburger, cans of pork and beans, lima beans, kidney beans, garbanzo beans and butter beans in your pantry and want to make a great side dish or even a main dish? The Beans Supreme recipe is the answer!

BEANS SUPREME (Lynn’s)

1 1/2-2 lb. ground chuck
1 onion, chopped
2 cans (16 oz. ea.) pork and beans
1 can (16 oz.) lima beans, drained
1 can (16 oz.) kidney beans, drained
1 can (16 oz.) garbanzo beans, drained
1 can (16 oz.) butter beans, drained
1/2 c. ketchup
1 lb. bacon fried and crumbled
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 t. salt
1 t. dry mustard
2 t. cider vinegar

Brown the ground beef and onion. Drain. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes stirring occasionally.
