CHURCH WINDOWS (Donna’s)
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 stick of butter
1 c. chopped walnuts (we usually skip these)
7 oz. flaked coconut or confectioners sugar
10 oz. of colored miniature marshmallows
Melt chocolate chips and butter together in a double boiler (or do this in the microwave). Remove from heat and fold in the nuts and marshmallows (if it’s too hot you may melt the marshmallows). Pour onto a large sheet of waxed paper sprinkled with the confectioners sugar (if using). Divide mixture in half to form two large rolls. Roll each in coconut. Wrap in wax paper, twist the ends tightly and chill for 24 hours. Slice into 1/3 inch cookies.
