BACON CHEDDAR PUFFS
1 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1 c. all purpose flour
4 large eggs
1 c. Sargento fine shredded sharp or mild Cheddar cheese
8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
1/2 t. onion salt or powder
1/4 t. garlic salt
1/4 t. pepper
Combine milk and butter in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat til butter is melted and mixture is simmering. Add flour all at once and continue to cook, stirring vigorously with a wooden spoon, til mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat. Beat in 1 egg til mixture is smooth. Repeat with remaining eggs, adding just 1 egg at a time and beating til thoroughly combined. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by heaping teaspoonsful onto a greased baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 25 minutes or til puffed and golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.
