2 lb. squash (Blue Hubbard, Acorn or Butternut)
1/2 c. water
2 t. sugar
1/2 t. Bavarian Inn all purpose seasoning (or you can substitute Lowery’s)
1/2 t. salt
pinch pepper or to taste

Cut squash in half and scoop out the seeds. Place in a baking pan skin-side-up. Add water to the pan and bake 350° for 1 hour or til soft. Cool. Remove the peel. Mash the cooked squash and mix in the seasoning. Gently re-heat for serving.
