3 c. milk
4 eggs
1 T. sugar
1 t. salt
2 c. flour

Whisk ingredients well. Let stand 30 minutes. About 10 minutes before cooking, add 4 ice cubes and stir in. Prepare 2 non-stick 12 muffin tins and put 1/2 t. Crisco into the bottom of each. Bake 425° til almost smoking hot (about 3 minutes). Fill tins half-full with batter (no more!). Bake about 25 minutes til puffed and golden. Recipe can be halved.
