CHUCK MUER’S VINAIGRETTE DRESSING (From Gloria Pitzer)
12 oz. jar raspberry jam
12 oz. water
16 oz. white vinegar
2 t. fresh sweet basil
2 t. fresh tarragon
1/2 c. sugar
Heat jam and water til the jam is melted. Strain the seeds and add the remaining ingredients. Cap and refrigerate for 24 hours. Strain again before serving. Splash over Romaine lettuce with Blue cheese and pine nuts.
