10 large apples, peeled, cored and sliced (I like Granny Smith, but use whatever type of baking apple you like!)
2 t. cinnamon
1 c. brown sugar
2 t. lemon juice
1 dash salt
1 dash nutmeg

Place sliced apples in a mixing bowl and gently mix all the ingredients together. Lightly grease a (1 1/2-2 quart) casserole dish with cooking spray. Place apple mixture in casserole dish and bake, covered, for 45-50 minutes at 350°. Stir every 15 minutes or so. Once apples are soft, cook for another few minutes to allow the cinnamon sauce to thicken.
