Mix 1/4 c. sugar and 1 T. cornstarch in a saucepan. Add 1 c. water to dissolve. Add 1 c. blueberries and cook over low heat til purple in color and desired consistency. Add 1 t. lemon juice, 1/4 t. vanilla and 1/8 t. cinnamon.
(yield 1 1/3 cup syrup)
