RASPBERRY CORDIAL (From Kitchen Cordials © 1979)
1 lb. raspberries
8 oz. sugar
3 c. 80 proof vodka
Crush berries, cover and let stand overnight. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Strain through a jelly bag and let cool. Carefully pour off 1 3/4 c. juice. Add sugar and stir to dissolve. Blend in vodka and leave til clear.
