PECAN PIE (Francie's)
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. sugar
1 c. dark Karo syrup
2 T. melted butter
1 t. vanilla
2 c. pecan halves
1 (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pie crust, homemade or frozen
Preheat oven 350°. In a large bowl, stir the first 5 ingredients til well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie crust. Bake 50-55 minutes or til knife inserted halfway between the center and edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
Note: if using frozen crust, do not thaw. Bake on a preheated cookie sheet.
