"BOTTLED-HELL" HOT SAUCE (Frances Brock's)
Mix 2 c. chopped hot peppers (seeds and stems removed) and 1/2 c. cider vinegar. Let stand for 30 minutes. Add an additional 1 1/2 c. cider vinegar and 24 oz. Hunts or Heinz ketchup and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Pour hot sauce into a sterilized jar (or some small (4 oz.) jelly jars). Seal and process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
