SPINACH DIP (Mary's)
1 pkg. (10 oz.) chopped frozen spinach, thawed and drained well
1 pkg. Knorr vegetable soup mix (or dry onion soup mix)
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 small can sliced water chestnuts, chopped
Combine all ingredients and stir. Serve spinach dip with party rye or your favorite crackers. You can garnish with chopped green onions or chives. Store the spinach dip in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
