LOW FAT PESTO SAUCE
1 c. olive oil
1 1/2 c. fresh basil
2-5 garlic cloves, peeled
1/3 c. pine nuts or walnuts
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. lemon juice
Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor. This cuts the fat to around 30 grams per teaspoon and a little bit of this pesto sauce goes a long way.
