BELL RIVER POWER PLANT ICE CREAM CAKE (Gloria Pitzer)
2 boxes (12 each) ice cream sandwiches
2 c. warm hot fudge
9 oz. thawed Cool Whip
For garnish use shaved Hershey bar or chocolate sprinkles or Maraschino cherries
In a (10xl3x2 inch) oblong pan, arrange 12 of the ice cream sandwiches in a single layer over the bottom of the pan. Cover evenly with all of the warmed hot fudge. Then arrange the remaining 12 ice cream sandwiches over the fudge and top off with Cool Whip, covering sandwiches evenly. Garnish as suggested above. Keep the ice cream cake in the freezer when not being served.
