This barbecue sauce recipe is brown sugar, ketchup based and turns into a sweet and sour style barbecue sauce with the addition of Yoshida's Hawaiian sweet and sour sauce which we found at Costco, Sam's Club and some local grocery stores.BARBECUE SAUCE (Sue's)
1 c. light brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. Heinz ketchup
1/3 c. Kikkoman soy sauce
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. chili sauce
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 t. French's mustard
1/8 t. pepper
Mix all barbecue sauce ingredients together well and then add 1/4-1/2 c. Yoshida's Hawaiian sweet and sour sauce to taste.
