BACON FILLED CHERRY TOMATOES (Peggy's)
1 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled (try some of the flavored bacons)
1/4 c. green onion, finely chopped
2 T. fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
24 cherry tomatoes
Combine all ingredients for this appetizer except the tomatoes. Cut a thin slice off the top of each tomato. With a small spoon or mellon-baller hollow out the tomatoes. Fill the tomatoes with the bacon appetizer mixture.
