CHOP SUEY CASSEROLE (More Please)
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup
3 c. water
1 small bottle (4 1/2 oz.) Kikkoman soy sauce
3 lb. ground beef
2 c. chopped celery
1 lb. rice, uncooked
2 medium onions, chopped
1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained and chopped in half
1 large can chow mein noodles
Mix liquid ingredients. Add remaining casserole ingredients, except the noodles, and mix well. Pack into two metal (9x13x2 inch) baking pans and cover with foil, sealing the edges well. Bake casseroles at 350° for 1 1/2 hours. Remove foil and top chop suey casseroles with noodles. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes.
