MACARONI SALAD FOR POT LUCK DINNERS (From Lucy Taylor)
1 box (1 lb.) ruffled pasta noodles (cooked per directions)
1 chopped green pepper
1 bunch chopped green onions
1 pkg. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese (you can use the low-fat cheese)
1 jar Real Bacon Bits
chopped black olives (optional)
1 jar (1 pint) Marzetti's Southern Style Slaw Dressing
1 c. chopped cherry tomatoes
Toss the first 7 ingredients together in a large bowl. Chill macaroni salad at least 2 hours or overnight; add tomatoes just before serving. Try adding cauliflower, broccoli, frozen peas, chic peas or chopped onion to the salad.
