FROSTING WITH GRANULATED SUGAR (Madeline's)
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
Beat frosting ingredients together with an electric mixer til it is smooth and fluffy (start on medium and go to high). In a pan, heat up 1 c. milk. Mix together 4 T. water and 4 T. corn starch, add to the milk and bring to the boil. Cool. Add to the creamed mixture and beat frosting for 15 minutes on high.
