CREAM CORN CASSEROLE LIKE MOM'S USED TO MAKE IN THE 50'S
1 large onion, chopped
1 red or green bell pepper, chopped
4 small ribs celery, chopped
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
Brown the above and mix with the following:
1 small can tomato paste
2 cans creamed corn
2/3 can chopped olives
salt and pepper to taste
Tabasco sauce to taste
Worcestershire sauce to taste
1 box (1 lb.) noodles, cooked al dente
4 c. grated cheese
Layer noodles, meat and cheese in a (9x13 inch) baking dish. Repeat layers. Bake the corn casserole at 350° for about 45 minutes.
