Here is a cabbage side dish recipe we took back in 1965. The Scotch Cabbage is a sweet and sour cabbage with a beaten egg in it for an interesting texture. Give this one a try.
1 egg, beaten
vinegar to taste
sugar to taste
Grate cabbage fine. Steam in water with egg added. Add vinegar, sugar and water.
