1/4 c. dried, minced onion
1/4 c. chili powder
3 T. salt
4 T. corn starch
1 T. dried, minced garlic
1 T. ground cumin powder
1 T. crushed red pepper flakes
2 t. beef bouillon granules
1 1/2 t. dried oregano

Combine all taco seasoning ingredients. Store in an airtight container, in a cool dry place, for up to 1 year.

To use taco seasoning:
brown 1 lb. ground beef in a skillet and drain. Add 2 T. taco seasoning, 1/3-1/2 c. water, bring to a boil and cook and stir 2 minutes. Stuff into hard or soft tortillas and top with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, a dash of hot sauce and a dollop of sour cream.
