Here are two words that sound, and taste, like heaven when put together: garlic and toast. In this case it's a garlic loaf as you are using a whole loaf of French bread.

GARLIC TOAST "BRENNAN"

1 loaf French bread
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 c. melted butter
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 T. minced parsley
1 t. paprika

Cut the loaf of French bread in half. Brush the cut surface of bread with melted butter. Combine cheese, parsley and paprika. Sprinkle over buttered surface. Put garlic in a press and squeeze over surface or crush garlic through press into butter before spreading. Wrap the garlic toast in foil and bake 350° for 5-10 minutes.
