HOLIDAY MARKET MEATLOAF (in Royal Oak, Mi.)

2 lb. ground chuck
1 medium onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced
pinch of tarragon
pinch of rosemary
pinch of salt and pepper
1/2 pt. milk (1 c.)
3 eggs

Mix all ingredients well. Add 1 can (14 oz.) seasoned , stewed tomatoes, crushed, about 1 c. bread crumbs and a pinch of garlic powder. Mix well, form into a loaf and place in a baking or loaf pan. Cover with a second can of seasoned stewed tomatoes (14 oz.). Bake at 325° for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours or til done.
