In a large microwavable dish or bowl place the following fudge ingredients:
1 lb. confectioners sugar
1/3-1/2 c. cocoa (not instant)
1/2 stick butter (no margarine)
1 1/4 c. milk
Mix microwave fudge ingredients together well and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Immediately add 1 t. of vanilla and beat with a whisk til vanilla is incorporated. Add 1 c. chopped nuts if desired. Spread the fudge onto a Pam-sprayed paper plate and chill the fudge in the freezer for 20 minutes before serving.
