Ann Sayle's Dining Room has been a favorite of Detroiters for simple cooking, properly prepared and served at very moderate prices since the thirties. The glazed carrots recipe is a perfect example of simple cooking! The restaurant is located on 13 mile road just east of Greenfield Rd. and is open Tuesday through Sunday. The chief cook and bottle washer these days is Mike Farero and I thank Mike for sharing the brown sugar glazed carrot recipe with us. As you can see, this is the way the restaurant makes it so you'll have to cut it down to "family-size"! If you need more information about the restaurant call (248)288-6020.
