CAKEBREAD CELLARS
Great people, great wine, great property...a great winery to visit! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Nancy we knew we were going to have a wonderful experience. Big smiles and lovely humor you just know you're going to be in for a good time. Doug walked us to each station around the property explaining each wine we were tasting and shared the Cakebread philosophy behind these lovely wines. I laughed, took a lot of notes, bought some wines to take home and clothing to advertise Cakebread. I know when someone sees the cakebread shirt, has been at the vineyard and starts a conversation about it...we will both have great things to share with each other regarding our visits (it's like we went to different schools together)! I loved the cabernet and if you do too, try the reserves they offer, you will not be disappointed. Cakebread does it right and it is a fun tasting as well.
